PIZZICA DANCE SHOW
Pizzica is an important folk dance and music tradition in Puglia, especially in the Salento region.
It was believed to have healing powers and ward off the "tarantula bite", a mythical spider bite.
In modern times, it has become a popular choice for wedding entertainment, adding a touch of tradition and local flavour to the festivities.
The dance itself is energetic and lively, performed in pairs or groups to the sounds of tambourines, accordions, and other traditional instruments.
